Menu Highlights

The menu at Harvest features an array of offerings designed to please any palate. From small plates to hearty main courses, there’s something for everyone. Here are a few standout dishes that caught my attention:

  • Charcuterie & Cheese Plate: A delightful selection paired with house-pickled vegetables and grilled sourdough—perfect for sharing or as a light appetizer at $27.00.
  • Crispy Pork Belly: This dish is a must-try, featuring a luscious celery root puree, apricot gastrique, and a medley of textures from toasted pecans and crispy brussels sprouts, all for $16.00.
  • Grilled Steelhead Salmon: Served with black rice and a refreshing coconut-cucumber salad, this dish balances flavors and textures beautifully at $27.00.
  • Filet Mignon: For steak enthusiasts, this well-executed dish comes at a premium price of $55.00, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to high-quality ingredients.

Many customers have praised the quality and presentation of the dishes. Reviews reflect the general sentiment that while there are minor areas for improvement—such as portion sizes and seasoning—Harvest has earned a reputation for remarkable food and attentive service. As one patron noted, “The food was amazing, and the oysters were delicious.” Such comments underscore the restaurant's ability to impress even the most discerning diners.

Ambiance & Service

The ambiance of Harvest is notable, featuring cozy seating arrangements that foster intimate conversations. However, some guests have mentioned that the tables are relatively close together, which may affect privacy. Regardless, the attentive staff and skilled bartenders create an experience that balances professionalism with a friendly touch.

In the words of one delighted customer, “The cocktails are strong and generous,” which speaks to Harvest’s commitment to crafting an impressive drink menu. The diversity of their whiskey and cocktail selection makes it a great destination for aspiring connoisseurs and casual drinkers alike.

This was my first experience at harvest. My friends have taken me out for my birthday. There was a mixup with our reservations due to the Internet. However, the staff made every attempt to correct it. They offered us mock-tails and dessert on them. we did need to sit at the bar. But the seats were very comfortable. The bar was beautifully lit and it was not loud. The food was exquisite. I had a lovely time. Our bartenders were so professional and artistic and it was fun to watch them work.. I’m going to come back again.

Update from Nov. 5, 2022 Since that first time, we’ve been there multiple times and the food is wonderful. They also try their best; after my previous review they offered us a 100 gift card to make up for some of the shortcomings. Impeccable customer service! They still have work to do in certain areas; the quality of the produce (beef) could be better, espresso could arrive hot not lukewarm, but overall this is the most consistent place in Knoxville for a nice date. I’d recommend it to anyone to try. Interesting place that tries very hard but has a few shortcomings. First of all, the drinks are strong and very generous in quantity; well done! Carpaccio was fresh and really well seasoned with truffle oils and capers; it’s probably the best carpaccio I’ve had in a year or so. The roast chicken was great (East Tennessee definitely knows how to do that!) but the side risotto could be served warmer and have less sour flavor and more seasoning (salt!). However, the tables are way too close to one another and people bump their chairs a lot (cheap logistics!). The beet salad, though interesting, was under seasoned and needed a pop: blue or feta cheese and a bit of balsamic vinegar would have made a huge difference. I’m discovering that Americans usually don’t know how to season beets. My husband’s filet mignon was expensive (62!) and poorly executed: too dry, under seasoned (again, more salt please!), and the skin burnt. The puree was dry and under seasoned too; I make better one at home. Desserts were good but not amazing; I was expecting way more because they have a pastry chef. Both cheese cake and key lime pie should be more moist to my taste. I like that they have espresso but it was served lukewarm and in a kind of a dirty cup with a candy that got stuck to the cup every time I had a sip of coffee. I wish we were compensated in some way by the shortcomings that we voiced (limited space between the tables and the dry steak) but the check arrived at close to 200 with nothing detracted. A truly fine dining and customer-oriented place would have made some kind of arrangement for that. I do look forward to coming back again and maybe trying their home made pasta, which seems to be their pride. No more steak in this place though, and do have to admit that I haven’t had a good steak in Tennessee yet.

This place is incredible. Ryan is an excellent server (Ticket said “Ricky P.”) and the food is second to none. We enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner here and I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend the cocktails, and they have one helluva whiskey/whisky selection. Before I left, the bartender asked me to join them for St. Patrick’s day festivities because he overheard me asking about Irish whiskeys. Just top notch all the way around.
